Tony Lockett brought up his 100th goal of the season in style, booting a mammoth 12 goals as Sydney romped away to a 48 point win at the SCG.
Plugger was unstoppable for the Swans, as Richmond threw multiple options at him out of desperation but never found the right matchup, and ended up going down 12.10 (82) to 20.10 (130).

It was a tough blow for Richmond, who found themselves outside of the eight with just three rounds to play.
The match would also be the first game back at the SCG for Matthew Richardson, since rupturing his ACL there a year earlier.
But the day would be all about Plugger, who needed six goals to reach the 100 mark, which he comfortably achieved before halftime before piling on another 6 for good measure.
Sydney got off to a flyer booting the first four goals of the game, with Richmond only managing their first just before quarter time.
The Tigers fought back in the second term to claw the margin back to 12 points, but Plugger's 6th for the game and 100th for the season somewhat quelled the momentum the away side were building, and by halftime he had extended his tally out to seven goals.
Diminutive in comparison, Duncan Kellaway had the arduous task of playing on Lockett in the second half, after both Paul Bulluss and Brendon Gale couldn't do much to stop the goalkicking champ.
Lockett immediately kicked his 8th on Kellaway to start the third term in worrying signs, while a young Clinton King came on in the third term for the Swans, years before the small rover would join Richmond.
Richmond showed some fight in the third term and were able to slowly chip away at the lead, and when Matthew Richardson kicked a superb goal to start the fourth quarter, the margin was back to 11 points.
From there though it was all Lockett and the Swans, who were clearly looking for the big fella, as he rattled off another four goals to close out the game and solidify the win for Sydney.
Chris Naish was probably Richmond's best on the day, getting busy with four goals and 17 disposals, while Paul Broderick and Wayne Campbell were the side's most prolific ball-winners with 23 and 22 disposals respectively.
Paul Bulluss was another who, despite having trouble with Lockett early, fought on well on other opponents as the game went on, but it really was the Plugger show, with the Tigers left in a tight spot to play finals in 1996.
