The GWS Giants were too good for Richmond in Round 5 of the 2020 AFLW season, running out 45-point winners with ease.

While the Tigers had their moments around the ground at different stages, the Giants were just too well drilled on their way to a 7.14 (56) to 1.5 (11) victory.

The prospect of beating GWS became harder during the week with Katie Brennan ruled out due to a concussion suffered a week earlier.

GWS methodically added to their advantage evenly across the first three quarters, choking up the Tigers ability to get good looks at goal, before then blowing the visitors out of the water with a three-goal to zero final term.

It was the highest score GWS had ever scored in their AFLW existence, highlighting their dominance around the ground.
